FPOP Humanitarian Response Team

IPPF Director General Tewodros Mellese providing support to FPOP Humanitarian Response Team a month after Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) devastated central Philippines last December 2013. When FPOP concluded its humanitarian response last June 2014, it had undertaken 88 RH medical missions covering 6 devastated provinces while extending health services to 3,894 pregnant women and 4,278 lactating women. With support from partner agencies like the Action Medior of Germany, the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation for Family Planning (JOICFP), and the SPRINT program of IPPF.
